Junior Grading Information | 2022

Thank you to those that have already registered. If you haven’t registered your child yet and they are intending to play this season, the details on how to do this online are below.

 

Grading Teams

For U11 to U13, we will be holding grading day sessions that are open for all players. These grading days will help us select a team for each grade to play in the regional and local leagues. The grading process will follow a similar format to previous years just like a training session, including skills, and games.

 

Should I attend the grading for teams?

For U11s and U12s ,we will be running one competitive team aligned with the 1919 programme. 

Those who are interested are invited to attend both grading sessions. 

If your child would rather play more socially, let us know. 

 

U13 

For U13 we will be again running our 1919 TDP programme. We will be holding a meeting about the changes from U12 shortly. All interested U13 players are expected to be at the grading sessions.

 

The sessions are held at Stop Out Clubrooms, Hutt Park. All players are welcome to attend. It would be appreciated if players could register online prior to the sessions, although not required. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session so we can give out all the bibs and start as close to the start time as possible.

Pre-season training will start once teams are named.

 

U11s

Sunday 13 March – 1:00pm – 1:50pm
Wednesday 16 March – 5:00pm – 5:50pm

 

U12s

Sunday 13 March – 2:00pm – 2:50pm
Wednesday 16 March – 6:00pm – 6:50pm

 

U13s

Sunday 13 March – 3:00pm -3:50pm
Thursday 17 March – 5:15pm – 6:15pm

 

If you still have your playing shirt from last season, can you please bring it along to the session day to return.

Registration and fees

All players need to register for the 2022 winter season online via MyComet. See below for full details on how to register along with information you need to know about the season.

U11 – U12: $130U13 – U15: $140

 

To register if your child already has a MyCOMET login:

·  Click the link below for your child’s age group, login and you will be taken directly to the item details page. Use the forgot password link if you need to reset your password.

·  Click add to cart at the top of the page. Once the item is in the cart you will see the cart showing one item in the top right corner. 

·  Click the cart to see the item and then click proceed to checkout to continue. You can pay via credit card, or pay later. To pay by bank deposit please make payment to: Stop Out bank account: 03-0543-0005123-01. In the particulars please put the players Name and grade. *Note the 2.5% credit card fee only applies if you are paying online by credit card.

If your child hasn’t played football before, then you will need to set-up a profile before registering. Click on the age group link below and then New user? Register on the login screen.The grade your child plays in is based on the age that they turn this year. So for example, if your child is turning 10 in 2022, then they will play in U10 grade. Girls can play down one grade in mixed grade if they wish.Registration links:U11 – born 2011 U12 – born 2010 U13 – born 2009 Please make sure you register your child for the correct age group.If you have any friends that are keen to play football this year, please ask them to email juniors@stopout.org.nz for details on how to register. We always love to see new players and families at the club. It’s never too late to start playing football.
