Over the past year the club has watched as sportsville facilities have been discussed in our region (some have occurred, some failed). As part of watching these play out, we have been speaking with the council and also local sporting codes.
We have looked back at the earlier days of Stop Out Sports Club and have noted that the current environment see’s us only playing 1 sport.. football. We have been thinking on ways that this could change to being a multi sports club once again.

We have looked at out current rules and noted that if we were to include an existing body that we want to ensure that we continue to maintain the club core. As a result we have accepted the attached motion to review our rules.

To change our rules we need to follow a few steps:

1 – Hold a Club general meeting to accept resolution of change
2 – Within 2 calendar months of the first meeting, conduct a second to accept changes.

The plan:

Special General Meeting – Sunday 15th September 4pm
Agenda – Vote on attached rule changes

AGM – Sunday 17th November 10am
Agenda – Vote to approve the amendments as agreed at SGM.
               – Annual reports
               – Annual elections
               – General Business
