A new fixture on the Youth Football calendar! Entries now open.
Stop Out U17 Tournament 2018March 17, 2018, 9:00amStop OutWe are excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Stop Out Sports Club U17 Tournament, to be held on the 17th and 18th of March 2018, based at Hutt Park. We are now accepting entries from clubs around the region for this event.
We are aiming to provide five games over the weekend, running 25 minutes each way. Saturday will feature the group stages, with the finals being played on the Sunday. The format will be adjusted based on the level of interest - early indications suggest demand for spots is high!
Our vision is simple. We are seeking to provide a fantastic event that will serve as excellent build up for the U17 regular season. We have a fine track record with our annual Wynton Rufer Tournament - which is growing every year. It is time that the clubs of Wellington have a viable and cost effective tournament for their U17 teams!
The entry fee for this event is $300. This will cover the costs of hiring the grounds, referees, winners and runner up medals.
For those who may be travelling from outside of the region, Hutt Park is conveniently located right next to the Hutt Park Top Ten Holiday Park. Our local area also encompasses several other accommodation options just minutes away.

A fantastic first year of 1919! Our development programme continues to grow from strength to strength.WHAT A WAY TO END THE YEAR As a final hurrah for the year the 1919 Development group took to Maidstone Turf in a game v Upper Hutt. After narrowly loosing last time out 5-4, the boys felt like they had a few things to improve on. After a wonderful individual goal from young EPW the boys conitnued to show their progress this year by retaining the ball well for vast period of the game, implementing the tools they have developed this term. This was capped off with a fantastic team goal scored by the youngest lad on the field, Tyler. The game finished 2-1 in favour of 1919. A very, very good afternoon of football all round. Thank you to Upper Hutt City Football and Pedro Andres Garcias Riffo for the fantastic games we have enjoyed throughout the term. To the players; keep growing, never stop learning and enjoy the game. To the parents; thank you for your consistent support, you allow these kids to do what they do!
This week more than 700 football-mad teenagers, parents, coaches, support staff and officials will descend on Petone and Upper Hutt for the 2017 National Age Group Tournament.
