August 29th, 11th grade Cup Final

Stop Out 1 Western Suburbs 0 (1-0) 

Another very tough season for the 11th Grade Rufer team this year coming home one better than the 2008 final.

On Saturday we won the Premier competition Cup Final beating Western Suburbs 1 nil in a nail bitting final.

Stop Out was off to a flying start scoring the first goal within three minutes. Exactly what coach Alex McDonald asked from the team in the pre match team talk. A fantastic team effort from all 12 players defended well and on attack put WesternSuburbs under constant pressure. 

The win was no fluke, the team worked extremely hard all season startingwith pre season training in February and two 90 minute practices per week.

In April Stop Out Rufer won the Easter Kapiti tournament.
