Gulley and Hill sign for Summer League

Hill 5 Stop Out 1st teamers Josh Hill and Steve Gulley will be playing ASB Premiership this summer.

A former New Zealand age-group representative Gulley debuted for Team Wellington back in the competitions inaugural season in 2004/2005. He helped the side reach their maiden ASB Premiership final in 2008 before taking time away from the league in 2013 to concentrate on Stop Out’s successful push for Central League promotion. After a three year absence Gulley was looking forward to getting back in black,

“It’s great to have to the opportunity to represent Wellington again at this level and test myself in this competition once more. Since the last time I was involved the ASB Premiership has changed in that there’s probably more quality players, which means every team can win on any given day. Another major change is that it will have television coverage which is great for the game and for growing the awareness of the franchise in the region and around the country.”

And Star Goalkeeper Josh Hill has re-signed for Hawkes Bay United. Part of the Bay set-up in 2014 Josh returns to the franchise for the 2015/16 season. We wish them both well
