Welcome to all new and returning players for the 2018 season at Stop Out. Registration for 2018 will open in early February.
All players must register for the 2018 season online and the registration link will be available from early February.
Junior football grades are First Kicks (4-6 year olds), and then individual age grades from 7th-14th. It’s never too late to start playing football and new players of all grades are welcome.
Registration and open day: Sunday 11 February 1pm – 4pm
Come along if you have any questions, or need to buy shorts and socks. There will also be some fields set-up so the kids can play some football.
Registration and fees
First Kicks (4-6 years): $80
7th grade – 12th grade: $125
13th – 14th grade: $135
Additional children in the same family (7th-14th grade): $10 discount per child
Note: 7th – 14th grade fees include a team photo. 13th-14th grade fees include an artificial turf levy and all fees include a $2 Capital Football health and safety levy.
The junior football season runs from 7 April to 25 August.
(There is no football in the middle weekend of the April and July school holidays 21 April and 14 July).
What grade will your child play in
The grade your child plays in is based on the age that they turn this year. So for example, if your child has turned 10 or will turn 10 this year (2018), then they will play in 10th grade. Girls can play down one grade if they wish.
First Kicks – 4-6 years (born 2012-2014)
7th grade – born 2011
8th grade – born 2010
9th grade – born 2009
10th grade – born 2008
11th grade – born 2007
12th grade – born 2006
13th grade – born 2005
14th grade – born 2004
9th to 14th grade
Trials are held for 9th – 14th grade. Trial dates are: Sunday 18 February, 19-22 February in the early evening and Sunday 25 February (grades and times to be confirmed). Further details, trial format and times for each grade will be available shortly.
Stop Out and Eastbourne clubs have an Alliance across our 10th – 14th grade Premier League teams to develop players and build better pathways for players as they move into youth and then senior football. Premier League teams now play under the Stop Out Eastbourne banner.
First Kicks to 8th grade
First Kicks to 8th grade is held every Saturday morning at Hutt Park. We have use of Hutt Indoor Sports if the weather is inclement or the Hutt Park grounds are closed – so football is on every week. 7th and 8th grade have in-house sessions and also take part in Capital Football festivals with other clubs around the Hutt Valley every three weeks.
